The pick-up at the hotel was punctual.
The atmosphere on board was welcoming.
I chose this trip because of the variety of fishing methods.
On fishingbooker you get a impression that fishing is done with different techniques;Light Tackle,Bottom Fishing Jigging, Deep Sea Fishing,Heavy Tackle, Trolling, Handline, Nets, Longline, Traps, Lures, Live Bait.
During our trip only nets and handlines/light tackle were used.
The fishing took place near the beach where there were many other pleasure boats and snorkelers.
Almost everybody caught some small fish.
The food on the boat was good and enough for everybody. To drink was also enough on the boat.
I really liked the explanations from the captain about the local habitat and the fish caught.
It wasn’t a fishing trip as I had hoped and and was disappointed at first.
There was no attempt to do any form of fishing for target species with the methods listed in the advertising.
Nevertheless, the trip was interesting and we had a nice evening at sea with a wonderful sunset.

Capt Anthi is at least a third generation professional fishing boat skipper. Her knowledge of and care for the Santorini fishing ground is impressive and reassuringly positive given the enormous pressure the family’s traditional resource is under. I had observed careless trawling the day before along this coast and although illegal this practice continues almost without check. Anthi’s family, having pioneered responsible fishing for tourists only 17 months ago, has now joined a group if local fishers pushing for a marine sanctuary around Santorini to allow the fish stocks to recover for future generations to enjoy. I cannot recommend the whole ecperiencr highly enough.

The trip was a good experience.
The crew was friendly, helpful and has a good knowledge about the trip area and the fishes.
Fishing is also luck.
My wife catches a small one.
The food on the boat was very good and enough for everybody.
To drink was also enough on the boat.
At all the trip was good and comfortable.
