This was my first boat charter so I didn’t know what to expect. This charter beat my expectations. The Capt Ben was phenomenal, he cares about his passengers and their experience. We rented gear and he set us up with everything we needed and even asked us if we wanted to change our rigs which we did a few times to switch things up. We booked a 7am trip and at 630am that morning, we learned our car was out of battery that we couldnt get to the wharf on time.  Tim came for our rescue and the car was jumped to start.  When the boat returned at 12pm, again the car couldn’t be started. Tim gave us a ride back to our accommodation. Awesome fishing trip with wife & kids. Just kept pulling the Snapper in. Even when it slowed down we were still averaging 10 every half hour. Amazing experience! The Firth of Thames is like no where I have ever fished. Tim and his team are top drawer and were there to help guide, bait and land the catch. We then got our Snapper filleted and vacuum packed at Salty Towers and ate some of our catch only an hour after it was caught at the Coromandel Fish & Chips who cooked it up for us. We had a great morning out with Ben and Nigel, managing to catch plenty of snapper. Arlo (6) was keen to catch as many fish as possible, and wanted to try casting and using lures whilst on board. Ben and Nigel were awesome and really helped Arlo try different fishing techniques out.  Arlo was so stoked that when we got home he put on the fishing show he’d seen Ben on with Clarke Gayford. Thanks guys, we had a great time and will be back in summer!
