- Background
- I started fishing as a little boy with my dad. We would sit on the banks of my grandmother's pond, seine minnows in the local creeks, wade fish for Bass in the local river, catch Crappie in our old aluminum boat and sit out trotlines for big ol' Catfish. Just being outside and active has always been a big part of my life. Since those early years, I've settled in Oriental NC and have fallen in love with the area's fish: Speckled Trout, Redfish, Stripers, Flounder, giant Bull Drum, Spanish Mackerel, False Albacore, Cobia, and others. Each day is a joy knowing that I can fish in these waters. I would love to share it with you.
- Techniques
- I will fish however my clients wish. We site cast, we blind cast, we topwater, we jig, we bottom fish, we fly fish, we fish from kayaks, we fish from boats. It doesn't matter if you are a beginner to an experts, the beautiful waters of Eastern NC around Oriental, New Bern, Beaufort, Morehead City, and Weldon provide excellent fishing. Every season has a different fish bite which makes this area extra special.
