Unfortunately the captain was a hour and a half late getting there to pick us up he’d only brought bait far trout and rigged up for trout fishing he pacifically knew that we wanted to redfish he forgot to bring the cushions for his boat for us to set on we took a 40-minute boat ride before we ever put a hook in the water he said he would furnish water he had none with him and we did not bring any overall it was a really bad experience we went ahead and paid him the full it was supposed to be an 8-hour fishing trip and it was barely five and a half we were totally disappointed

My name is Bobby C.  I was on the trip with John.  First off he did call the night before not to tell us he had boat issues but to try and get us to change from Monday to a Wednesday trip.  Weather is bad. We said we were unable to do that because of our schedules,  Said meet him at dock at 6 am.
We were at dock before 6am and finally got text from him about 6:30 saying had truck problems.  He seems to be having a lot of problems. But he would be there by 7am.  Finally showed at 7:30 am We specially specified we wanted to fish for redfish.  He shows up with popping corks and very small shrimp.  I have caught reds on shrimp but it’s defiantly not my first choice for bait.
When we booked this trip on his web sight it said he furnished rods, reels, bait, water and drinks,  In the above email he says he let us barrow(can’t spell very good)  his rods and reels.
He was very good at setting up in his captain’s chair and playing with his phone while most of the time we had to get our own bait. I went to get bottle of water out of his ice chest but was no water only diet cokes and beer.  There was not even any ice in it.  He even told Travis (John’s son) who was the third person on the trip that he had left the cushions for us to set on while traveling at the house.
I lived in South Texas for close to 40 years and did a lot of fishing and I know there are 2 things that you cannot control.  WEATHER and Making fish BITE but everything else you can pretty well control. 
The one thing he forgot to mention in his comments was on the way in he told John to get a hold of him and he would see about rebooking the trip since we had so much trouble.  But when we paid him full pay plus tip he seems to have forgotten that.
The man needs to straighten up his ACT!!!!!
