Our group of four decided to do a half day fishing trip with Jason and I’m so glad we did. Let me start out by saying, my husband has a reputation for being the bad luck charm when it comes to any fishing trip. We joked when we arrived that this was his luck and the captain took on the challenge of breaking it. They tried EVERYTHING to get some fish on the line and never gave up. They both stayed upbeat and accommodating throughout the entire trip and we ended the day with 2 (hard earned!) fish to keep. The boat ride was comfortable, the weather was great, and the company was enjoyable. We would definitely recommend booking a trip with Jason and crew and can say, without a doubt, they will do everything they possibly can to ensure you catch fish! I highly recommend this boat, skipper and hand.  Captain Jason and his crew mate, Matt, were extremely skilled, professional and enjoyable to be with.  We caught a beautiful approximately 6.5 foot, sixty pound sailfish on the trip.

Jason and Matt were fantastic - we only had enough time for a short charter and they made the most of it. I will certainly book again the next time I am in town and highly recommend them to anyone else!

Our day could not have been any better!  Jason and Matt were great to fish with!  My wife and I brought our two kids and one of our daughters friends along for a half day trip with High Stakes.  We didn’t know what to expect but the team did not disappoint! 

The boat was amazing - their was an AC portion that was really comfortable for the kids when they weren’t fighting with the fish.  The boat has state-of-the-art equipment to help us quickly get on site and hunt fish the entire time.  The fishing gear was top notch - definitely felt like we had the best you can get. 

Both Jason and Matt were super patient with the kids - very helpful in explaining what they were doing throughout the journey and also helping them bring in the fish solo.

We caught so many Mahi-mahi - also caught tuna, wahoo, a pesky barracuda and Albacore.

Matt cleaned the fish as soon as we returned and the kids were sad the trip had ended.  Would definitely recommend and recommend the full day charter - once you get out there and the fish start biting - you don’t want to cut it short because of time.
