After a last minute change in our vacation from the Keys to Destin due to the hurricane I was concerned we would not be able to get a fishing trip in.  We were very excited when the email confirmation came in confirming our trip.  Capt/ Brian was an excellent in his communication about where, when and asked questions about what we were hoping to accomplish.  He created the perfect trip for what we were looking to accomplish.  The water and weather was rough and he did everything in his power to ensure we were safe and happy.  He showed us from the start we were in for a great trip.  He is very courtesy and made sure we always had lines in the water.  We used various baits and techniques to see what the fish were hitting.  My favorite fish caught was when he showed me how to use a lure for a barracuda.  After a few casts, I saw my lure get smashed and then felt the fish go on a great run…It fulfilled our goal of tight lines and screaming reels.

One word, WOW! Father and 2 adult sons from North Carolina just experienced a life time memory. Didn’t think possible to hear “fish on” and everyone not stop to watch! Captain Guy moved us 4 times to catch something to keep and we caught and caught fish. Only 1 keeper, and Captain Guy felt bad, but If we were fishing for “food”  We would have spent the trip money at the fish market! We wanted to catch fish, and this happened, and lots of them! Red Snapper, Trigger fish, Jack, Grouper, Ruby Lips! At no fault of Captain Guy we didn’t fill the boat with ” keepers” because all fish we caught were if they were in season! Book this trip!

Captain Jeff worked hard and as a result we had a great day. We caught quite a few Dolphin and a vermilion snapper, some Bonita a Cobia, some Remora fish and Trigger fish. Also caught a red,snapper, season closed, back it went.

From the moment we met Captain Ryan I knew we were in good hands. I appreciate his emphasis on safety first and then fishing and fun and he did not disappoint. We had a blast and caught a ton of fish which made it difficult for him to keep up with our needs. We caught more that had to be released due to season but came away with some very nice grouper and mingo. We caught and released loads of snapper and triple tail and even a few sharks that snacked on our catches on the way up. We had a blast, can’t wait to do it again when snapper is in season.
