Although Captain Rick was friendly and polite his customer service could use a little help. First when we got to the boat, the Captain didn’t say two words. Once we were fishing, I noticed the rod I was using had 30yds of line on it at best. It was lite tackle therefore, if I hooked anything it would have stripped the reel. I mentioned this to the Captain Rick, and he just laughed. Several of the reel combos were junk. Then the Captains brother showed up and Captain Rick bummed a cigarette, and his brother’s boat crashed into ours. This broke the GPS electric anchor on the front of the boat. So this caused used to have to Leave the reef and head in shore. While en route in shore we saw some Mackeral working the surface. Captain Rick was not very interested in getting his customers any fish. You would think he’d have poppers or diamond jigs. And he would try to keep you near the frenzy of fish? Nope!!! He had one old rusted box of terminal tackle. And he never offered any tackle alternatives. After wasting time doing nothing we went to fish the pilings under the bridge. This is the only place Captain Rick somewhat redeemed himself. He worked hard to keep us in position, but was still very hands off on any assistance.  All in all not a bad guy, but if customer service is what your looking for…  look elsewhere!!!

We practically paid for a very expensive boat ride. We drove around on the water for about 3 hrs and fished for an hour. We only caught one small 16 inch keeper fish. We went out “ looking” for bigger fish and it took almost an hour to get there and as soon as we got there the captain didn’t even let one person cast and said we were running out of time and had to head back! About ruined me for offshore fishing.

Very personable but didn’t seem very prepared.  Complained a lot about us losing his weights and didn’t give very good instruction about getting hung.  Equipment was not very well prepared.  Captain didn’t have a very good attitude.  Maybe y’all were just having a bad day that day.  Either way, I will probably not bring my 13 yr old again.

The captain was rude,  very hateful,  he wasn’t ready when we arrived we spent our first our trying to catch bait , which he was unsuccessful at. Then he spent 2 hours worrying about other boats ,  was hateful because we had sand on our shoes and tracked it in his boat. The weather got bad and caused us to not get our full 6 hours, and didn’t give us a discount , as we came through the storm he never offered life jackets to anyone in the boat,  and we had a 10 year old in the boat, I wouldn’t recommend this guy . We truly feel that he robbed us of $720.00 he’s basically a clown on the water.
