This was my 1st time charter ocean fishing and it was Awesome!
It was with my 10 & 12 yr old boys and brother in law
Had thought we’d end up fishing close to shore for some good eating yellow tail snapper or grouper. Turns out those are not typical in this area
Instead - the Captain told us we’d be into sail fish and was he ever right on
I hooked and lost one right away and a while later my 10 yr old fought and brought one - a 90 inch sailfish - alongside the boat but we didn’t get a clear photo as by the time we got positioned- it dove again.
Captain Tom again had a hold (for the 2nd time) on the leader of what he called a “trophy” & bigger than any he had ever 1st hand had experienced
The video we have shows the front end of the fish out of the water - it’s impressively huge
Finally - within 10ft of the boat - the steel leader next to the hook snapped

Captain Tom was at the dock early and all equipped and stocked for a great day of fishing.. During the first part of the day my son landed a large King Mackerel.. A bothersome 4 foot shark was caught and thrown back and then we took our limit of tilefish!! All in all it was a great day and Captain Tom never stopped moving to new locations and trying incredibly hard to keep catching fish. I would highly recommend this charter !!

Braved the high waves to get to the fishing grounds, where Tom made it possible for my 14 year old son to experience landing a Sailfish and a Tuna on his first deep sea trip! My friend Andrew also landed a Tuna!

The boat is a 27’ Center Console Conch. Part of the adventure is getting out there on a boat like this! Was an awesome expended and Captain Tom has amazing fishing acumen! Highly recommended!!

Our family had a great time fishing with Captain Tom! We caught barracuda and kingfish, and lots of bonita to use as bait. We kept the kingfish as dinner and took it to a local restaurant (The Fish Shack) that Tom and his wife recommended, it was enough to feed six people plus leftovers! We would definitely recommend Tom and book with him again next time we’re in Pompano.
