Took my grandsons, 8 and 13, on a 4 hour inshore charter and had a blast. Upon arrival at the marina Capt. Charlie advised the fishing was not very good the day before and asked us if we would like to stay on schedule. We did and we had a great time. He put us on the fish and my grandsons were able to catch some nice ones. Will definitely charter with them again. Great family experience.

It was a hot and humid morning, and the fishing was slow.  Charlie worked hard to put us on some redfish.  After no success he took us out six miles to catch some red snappers and mackerel. We saw some redfish being caught at the bridge on the way back in so we stopped to fish for the last few minutes of the trip.  I caught a large redfish on the first drift.  We fished for 15 minutes past our allotted time trying to get another redfish for one of the other guys on the boat.

My 2 teenage sons, my husband and my father-in-law participated in this half day inshore fishing trip and they had a blast. Captain Parker took them to several great spots and they caught lots of black drum. We took some of the fish to The Point in Perdido Key and they fried half and blackened the other half. The food was amazing and we will definitely book with Southern Sun again!

Captain Parker was awesome and very accommodating.. he made sure me and my 12 year old son were set up for success.. we caught at least 8-10 fish and 5 were keepers that also at the end of the trip he filet so we could take back and cook… well worth the money.. my 12 yr old was not wanting to get off the boat at the end. thanks Parker for a great trip

My 10 year old son and I went out with captain Parker for a 5hr inshore/nearshore trip. My son got a little Green not long into the trip just a mile or two off shore. Kind of a bummer due to already on the bite. We quickly made a move in shore and once again quickly starting catching fish. It was pretty much non stop action. I would book again!
