- Captain Shad has been fishing the Carolina coasts his entire life! It all started when he was barely old enough to hold a rod. At 18, he joined the Coast Guard and traveled all around the US' coastlines. His time in the Coast inGuard made him realize just how amazing his native Carolina coasts are. As a result, he decided to choose a career that would allow him to introduce others to the splendor of the Carolinas and catch fish along the way. Captain Shad's vast experiences working as a captain and a first mate on various model-makes and styles of boats provide him with a firm foundation as a charter boat captain to ensure you a safe and productive trip.
