As of today, the Maryland Chesapeake Bay fishing season will begin May 16. This year, a slot has been enacted by the Maryland Department of Natural Resources, along with a new possession limit. Anglers are allowed to keep one (1) fish per person 19"- 24". We do have a catch and release only season beginning March 1- March 31.

The fall striped bass season has heated up ! Seeing fish schooled up, large boxies of bait fish and gulls working !! Our bait fish have moved out and trolling is the game with great success !! Striper season is open again and runs through November! We have been able to catch limit of striped bass every day that the weather has cooperated. Some areas have a nice mix of bluefish as pictured from a recent trip. The average size of stripers are 19"-24" with the occasional 30". Book your trip now to catch these fish with live bait on light tackle. Bait fish will be leaving soon which will put us back into trolling mode (October and November). Capt. Herman Haddaway

The bait fish has shown up ! The light tackle with live bait is heating up ! We are finding fish on the structures and having good success catching the striped bass (rock fish) !!

Maryland has set the fishing season for 2022 ! May 1, 2022 is opening day for the Trophy Striped Bass. Fish must be 35" or larger and one fish per person. We have 15 day's to catch these large fish. So book your charter soon for a chance to land a trophy !! May 16th the size limits drop to 19" or bigger and 2 fish per person ! The summer striped bass season is in full swing. Catching limit most days with light tackle and live bait. The bite has been early and shutting down around 8 am. The trip's leaving the dock at 5 am have been the most successful.
