We went out for a six-hour trip and caught one large Wahoo and a small barracuda.  We had quite a few more strikes that did not get hooked up.  The captain and mate were very professional and very friendly.  They can adapt each trip to meet the customers’ needs; if you have small children or you are prone to seasickness, they can stay closer to the coast to avoid rough seas.  If you don’t have any restrictions the crew will go where the fish are.  The captain explained that all the charter captains are friendly with each other and will keep in touch by radio about what they are catching and where.  That way, if someone finds a pretty good spot, everyone else can participate.  We would not hesitate to book another trip on the Carla.

We had a great time fishing on the Carla. The seas were very rough and my daughter ended up getting sea sick and the first mate was wonderful with her. Although it was a slow day for the fish, the first mate kept switching the bait in an attempt to catch a fish. We caught a Wahoo and tuna. We had a large King mackerel snap the line but that was only because he went for the one rod which was rigged for the kids and he bit through the line. After we got back to the dock, they cleaned the fish and we brought this over to Lucy’s for dinner and the dinner was excellent. I would recommend this trip, although it was a slow day for the fish, it was a great experience.

The captain and mates where excellent.  They was professional & created a relaxing atmosphere.  The mates did all of the work as we waited to catch fish.  We caught 11 fish in all.  The mates where hard working & joked with us.  I would highly recommend this tour.

Did half day with my father and son. Great crew and boat. Had a blast. Came back with some nice fish.

Took my teenage boys fishing and this did not disappoint. My boys loved this thrilling experience. The captain and mate worked hard to try and catch fish. My boys loved the experience and enjoyed working with the crew to reel in some fish.
