Background
My crewmen and I have extensive experience in fishing the Fort Lauderdale/Miami areas: two Bahamas Billfish Championships and numerous tournament wins in addition to our many years of local chartering. None of us enter into tournament fishing anymore and instead choose to spend our days furthering experienced and novice anglers experiences at deep sea fishing and smoothly introducing new anglers to deep sea fishing. Children are always welcome and we encourage you to bring yours along. Between us, we have a combined total of over 90 years guiding anglers in their pursuit of big game fish and also "action" charters tailored to meet each charters specific wishes. We love what we do, it is all we do, and our love for our job is easily seen with Trip Advisor and Google reviews as well as here at Fishing Booker, as all carry us with a 5-star rating.
Techniques
We offer all types of fishing approaches ranging from big bucket list fish to smaller ones for young children. Live baiting along the reef edges for Sailfish with kites a specialty. Wahoo, Mahi-Mahi, Tunas and Kings are primary trolling and live bait targets as well. We actively bottom fish for various species including grouper, snapper, Golden and Gray Tilefish and also assorted Jack species. The area being tropical and with warm water offers Sharks if you like of many sizes and numerous species throughout the year.

The last 10 days we have seen a variety of different species of fish offshore. Most of our fishing charters have stayed in shore along the reef. With the best fish, and being in sure, most of the fish range in size from 5lbs up to 40lbs. Trolling Between 80-350 foot remains consistently good. With quality catches of king, Mackerelโ€™s, and Bonitas, along with the occasional Sailfish even still a few Blackfins Tunas mixed in. The bottom fishing on some of the shipwrecks has definitely slow down, but we are still seeing some large amber jacks along with a few vermilion snapperโ€™s as well. The shark fishing continues to be phenomenal. Even this late in the season. We still have consistent catches of sandbar, sharks and hammer heads. The offshore Mahi Mahi fishing continues to be hit or miss. Along with the sword fishing, which has been very slow. Still all in all it is a great time of year to do a family fishing charter aboard the Marlin My Darlin.

This weeks fishing report has been hit or miss. Some days the trolling on the third reef Between 80-350 foot has been great with quite a few Bonitas and king mackerels still biting consistently. The wreck fishing in the deeper water is still good as well. Quite a few larger Amberjacks still on some of the deep wrecks. The offshore mahi fishing is still hit or miss. Some boats are catching quite a few, but a lot of guys are still striking out. Shark fishing continues to be phenomenalโ€ฆ! The shark population has definitely rebounded and is becoming a large problem for a lot of the Bottom fish species. Such as Groupers Snappers and Amber Jacks. A lot of the fish we catch on wrecks get eaten before we can ever get them to the boat. For additional information about charters, give us a call on the boat ph**hidden content**

This weekโ€™s fishing report consist of lots of Bonitasโ€ฆ. Both of The Marlin My Darlin Boats had large catches of Bonitas and Kingfish consistently this Week. We have also caught some larger barracudas, including Two very nice Wahoos as well. The Mahi fishing offshore continues to be slow. But the wreck fishing continues to be paying off with a few small snappers and several large Amberjacks. Weโ€™ve also had a few large snappers get eaten by the sharks that seem to be very abundant this year.

This weeks fishing report has been good. Most of the boats have gone out and have caught at least some king fish, if not full limits. Along with a box full of Bonitas. The offshore Mahi Mahi Fishing continues to be hit or miss but some guys did have a good dayโ€™s this past week. Still a handful of Wahoos around anywhere from 150โ€™ out to 450โ€™. Also, the black fin tunaโ€˜s are still biting late in the afternoon. These fish are a little smaller this month Than They were last month but itโ€™s still a good time to be out there. Direct fishing has slowed down. Weโ€™re not seeing nearly the amount of Amberjacks or snappers on some of the deeper wrecks Offshore in Fort Lauderdale. But that is common as we come into the Summer time.

This past week the summertime fishing has really picked up. Both of our boats have had great catches of King mackerel with a few mahiโ€™s mixed in. Weโ€™ve also had a couple Sailfish releases as well this week.
