Incredible Amberjack action at the seamounts of El Bajo with fish from 45 to 90 lbs and water temperature around 76f. Marlin starting to appear and yellow fin tuna coming in too! Get your bags packed lightly for La Paz as it is hot and great fun!

Very friendly Captain (Frank), although experienced in only some dimensions of sportfishing. Limited bait supplies—spent two hours trying to catch live bait—why aren’t live bait suppliers using a broader set of strategies to catch live bait of various sizes (seining, cast nets, etc.)? Our bait was very large (more than a pound each—but quality mackerel). The large engine (115 HP) had a relatively fast troll speed at its lowest speed—the fleet really needs electric motors... More

Gil, Thank you for your comments and for visiting us in La Paz. Bait can be scarse at different times of the year so we use either larger mackerel or caballitos when sardines are harder to find. The brand new 150hp engine had a gasket leak and we are sorry firvthat since it was serviced the day before after being run in. Nice rooster by the way and we hope to see you again.

I have fished La Paz five times before and its always a great time! The captain and Blaz were the best, I’ve fished with Blaz in the past and he loves to fish. After a long day of fishing the girls at the Cortez club cooked up our catch and it was incredible! My buddies were all first timers and are hooked for life now. Thanks again we’ll see you next year

Greg, We clearly state that fishing licenses, lunches & drinks on the boat, bait and taxes are aditional costs. Thank you. This is from our description on FishingBooker.com site: All trips include the use of rods, reels, tackle, and lures. Spearfishing and snorkeling equipment are available for purchase, along with daily/weekly fishing licenses, food, drinks, beers, vacuum sealing, and bait. Please note, that a 16% tax is not included in the price.
