Awesome trip as usual. This makes my fourth year fishing with Salas. I have fished all over the world and he is the best Captain and crew I have ever met. We kept the 7 big ones today but caught more and missed others. It is called fishing. He and the crew work hard to put you on the fish. They also work hard to make sure you are comfortable. I have 2 more trips booked with him in the next few weeks.

We are constantly impressed with Captain Sal and his ability to find us fish, make our experience fun and deliver his services in a professional way! We have not scheduled a trip to Playa without asking Sal to take us fishing because it is always a highlight for us. I recommend Captain Sal over and over - whether it’s for bottom fishing, trolling or jigging. He is knowledgeable, friendly and loves his job!

Salias and crew went out of their way to find fish. We started by jigging, got a couple of bites but nothing solid, went to trolling and landed a baracuda. From there we did some bottom fishing and caught a handful of grouper and something else. While bottom fishing Salias had a pole setup with live bait and another much larger baracuda was hooked. Fishing is always a rool of the dice but these guys went out of their way to make sure we all caught something. Water, beer and soda on board was nice. Great time. Thanks.

My son (aged 11) and I had a fabulous half-day fishing with Captain Salas and his first mate Jhony.  The boat and experience were as described and we couldn’t fault the the time we had.  Great communication, great knowledge and a great price!  We caught 3 barracuda and had another bite which got away - my son was very pleased to catch the two largest ones!  If we’re ever in the region again we’d definitely go with Captain Salas!

We have used Captain Salas numerous times and this is my first time to make a public review…we have gone out with him with just my husband and I, we have gone out with him with our 3 kids, we have gone out with him and other couples and we have also used him for a corporate event for Ky company to offer fishing excursions to our employees…
He is great with people and fun to spend half or all your day with…
We have used other fishing tours in other areas but when we come back to Playa del Carmen he is the only charter we use…we wouldn’t have it any other way!
