It was a fun trip and Captain Mike and Russell were great!  They tried hard to find good fishing spots for us!  Unfortunately, because of impending Tropical Storm Elsa, the fish weren’t plentiful.  But we still had a blast and would do this trip again!  Highly recommend it.  There’s plenty of shade and seating on the boat.  Captain Mike was fantastic with my 9-year-old-son!  He was great with instructing and encouraging him.  He was knowledgeable and taught us a lot about... We had 4 adults and 2 children ages 6and 7. The boat trip out was relaxing for the adults, but as you can imagine, not as much for the kids. But we took pretzel rods and waters. Just be prepared and tell some facts about shrimp and crabs to your young kids. Once we got to a spot, then the fun began! Kids loved going thru the next part of digging through their catch and feeding the birds. Captain and mate were very friendly. We ate some of the shrimp tonight. Good summertime fun!’

We had a blast, I had been shrimping before but my husband and 4yr old daughter have not. They truly loved the experience and we will be back!

Capt. Russell & Mate Jesse landed us right on the fish!  22 Bluefin and & 2 Spanish mackerel, all of us had a great day and would 100% recommend:) Thanks again!

Trip was great. Russ and Mike were awesome. The kids had a fantastic time. Ending with 10 gallon bags of de-headed shrimp. Did a boil with shrimp and crabs later that afternoon. Nine frozen bags headed home. Trip was fun and educational. Would recommend and will do next visit to OBX.
