Weather wasn’t ideal, but Mark was.  He was great!!! Thanks for trying so many spots. Just wish the fish cooperated a bit more. Got to see a pod of dolphin. 🐬

Overall great experience. This was a dream trip for us. Captain Mark communicated with us about the weather ahead of time and suggested we move our trip times to avoid the weather and boy was he right. My wife and I had an amazing time and will book with Captain Mark again in the future!

Took a few days for the weather to clear and when it did we had the perfect day offshore fishing with Barracudaville Charters. It pays to hire an expert. We caught so many fish we lost count. We kept plenty of to eat and Captian Mark filleted them on the dock while we waited and fought off the pesky pelicans.  We thoroughly enjoyed the adventure and will absolutely do this again with Captian Mark.

We scheduled our fishing trip on our last day of vacationing in St. Pete Beach. The weather forecast kept changing the rain percentages that day. Captain Maloney contacted me the day before to discuss the weather and we settled on meeting at 0900 instead of 0700 to wait out the rain.
When we arrived, everything was ready to go. There was some rain when we were heading out but thankfully it was short-lived. To our benefit, the water wasn’t rough either. Shortly after we got out there the clouds burned off and the sun came out and heated things up quickly. It ended up being great weather for the rest of the day.
When we finally got to our spot, rods and reels were ready to go and there was plenty of bait. We caught several fish, some keepers and some just short of keeping so they were released. We caught grunt, amberjack, barracuda, and a couple of others I can’t recall at the moment. My two sons (17 and 12) must have had the magic touch that day because they are the ones that caught the majority of the fish. Of course we hoped for a few more big fish, but were happy that we at least walked away with a nice big fish dinner (I say 1 dinner because I’m feeding 3 teen boys and a spouse, otherwise it would be 2-3 meals for a couple). We had a great time enjoying the water and fishing with Captain Maloney. Will definitely use again on our next vacation to St. Pete Beach.

My wife and I had great time with Mark. We both caught even though there was a red tide. I caught a black tip shark and my wife caught a barracuda. I immediately wanted to come back the next day for a full trip. Mark made the trip worth it, incredible captain. 100% worth it.
