Recently my family went on a four hour afternoon inshore trip with Captain Batch.  I wish we could have fared better with our overall haul of fish, but we had a run in with some inconsiderate snorkels in our fishing area.  Captain Batch himself was in amazement as to the situation but handled himself quite professionally.  That, in combination with a lot of fresh water mix in the area contributed to catching less fish, I think.  Still, we moved to another area and were able to get enough for a nice meal in the end. 
  Captain Batch was very friendly, knowledgable and patient.  He was great with our kids as well.  While he never came out and said it, I think he might have felt badly about the snorkelers and ended up letting us do a little “overtime” fishing.
We all enjoyed ourselves.  Thank you Captain Batch!
  Also a shout out to Captain Mitchell….  Leading up to our trip he was very helpful.  There were lots of reminders that our trip was upcoming and he offered to speak to us personally if we had any questions.  I took him up on that and we had a nice conversation a couple days before our trip.

Excellent option for very little money if you have children that are fascinated with wildlife! There isn’t anything I can think of that we didn’t see. Crab, flounder, squid, jellyfish, baitfish, stingray eggs, puffer fish, dolphins, and of course shrimp!! The kids were able to safely learn how to interact with marine wildlife and learned much more than we expected! If you plan to do any surf fishing I would recommend booking this trip your first day and this outing will prepare you with all the live bait you need! Captain Davis was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and capable to safely provide an unforgettable experience for your family!!

Unfortunately we got rained out and didn’t get to go fishing (lots of lightning) but it was handled very professionally and captain batch was a joy to talk with we appreciate the prompt,and friendly service through the entire process and also thankful for the full refund when we come back we will book with them again. We had a wonderful time on the 2 hour shrimping charter with Captain Mitchell. He was amazing with my 11, 8, and 6 year old. You can tell he enjoys kids and teaching them about shrimping. We will definitely book with him when we are back in Orange Beach. This charter entertained all 3 of the kids they had a blast!

We had a wonderful time on the “do it all” trip. Though we didn’t catch any fish, It wasn’t for lack of trying. T Bo tried several different spots and explained the process very well.  The shrimping was an incredible experience for my kids and was much more successful than fishing for us.  They loved throwing back the fish and squid and crab caught in the net and seeing so many dolphins so close up. It was certainly the highlight of our vacation.
