While we didn’t end up getting a shot at a blue marlin, we did catch 17 mahi up to 35 lbs and lost one that probably would have weighed in at 50 lbs. These guys worked really hard to try to get us a blue and fished right up to the harbor — they regularly raise blues just at the mouth — at the end of the day. The Bertram 38 Special was clean and very comfortable with plenty of room to kick back when not fishing or for those that are just along for the ride. The tackle was really nice too.  50, 80, 130 Shimano Talicas on custom rods. The bait was fresh, plentiful ballyhoo, and the trolling lures we used were particularly nice. One of us a chef by trade, we always appreciate the effort it takes to go the extra mile on lunch. Nothing fancy, but the sandwiches were very tasty.  All in all, we were very impressed by the fishery and the charter and will be back! - Meggan + Tony

Caught around 15 Mahi Mahi, amazing day out and the crew were excellent! My wife was seasick for the most part and we had our two young sons with us 3 and 5 years old. The crew were really good with the kids and made sure my wife was OK.  As for the fishing it was brilliant and the crew were very knowledgeable and were so fast re baiting so we could maximize our chances of catching.

Would recommend these guys to anyone looking for a successful fishing trip, they know what they are doing!!!!
