It was a great day, windy but loads of fish and fun for the entire family. We left the hotel via kayaks and head off to the hotspots offshore about 3 miles out. It was a spectacular lay for… Read Full Report →

Nice boat, Captain was not a fisherman just a boat operator.
The two mates were fishermen, but not in the sense we expected.
They were more like the local guys that go out in small boats and hand line fish.
We did troll for a while, but when we caught the tiniest tuna that I had ever seen, the mates quickly pulled a buoy and hand line rig out of the fish box, and rigged the baby tuna and tossed this in the water to fish for marlin??
If it had hooked a marlin they would have hand lined it! Since it was on a buoy tip up hand line, not a rod and reel. We caught 4 tiny baby tuna and spent the rest of the day watching these two clowns fish these hand lines. Not what we expected for $1000.
To say we were profoundly disappointed is an understatement. NEVER AGAIN, this was a huge mistake, waste of money and a waste of a day of our vacation.
For the record, we are all firemen in our 50s, and have extensive experience sportfishing, in the Hudson Canyon and Florida Keys.James C. does not recommend Mega Bite Fishing Charters

Sorry we did not meet your expectations. We try to blend a traditional Caribbean style fishing with Sport Fishing and we have been very successful. It is a bit different to people that haven’t experienced it but we have caught many fish and we have had extremely satisfied guests.
Nonetheless, we appreciate pointers, criticism and will learn and improve.
