I had an amazing trip with this crew. I went by myself and they were so awesome! I caught over 20 Mahi Mahi and a barracuda! Unfortunately I didn’t get hooked up to a marlin. The crew were so attentive and professional! I will fish with them again next time I come to Punta Cana!!!

Wendy
Glad you had an awesome time and caught lots of fish by yourself
This is enough fish to feed a whole town /village fish tacos

The communication was great, trip organized, on time, boat clean, crew was professional. End of day swimming was a great addition after not catching anything. Rough ocean that day; but we survived. We will have tight lines next time!

Joe

I’m glad you and your friends had a great time and hopefully you will get hooked up with a big Marlin on your next trip.
Hope you made fish tacos with the ones you caught on your recent trip.

The day was a great day with the family.  We were novice fishermen and the captain and first mate did wonders to help us fish.  We got a white marlin to the boat, but he swam under the boat and snapped the line.  We pulled in a barracuda and yellow fin tuna, while none of the other boats on the water were catching anything.  The swells were rough in the morning around 5 feet, but we enjoyed the trip none the less.  We finished the day with snorkeling.  My family is already asking to do this again.  I can’t thank everyone enough.  Highly recommend.

The most important goal for this trip was to catch fish. While every trip has the potential to go without fish, (we caught zero), I think tactics could have been modified to improve our chances. It was windy, and the seas were large. Three baits were hit while were out, and all three baits were hit short, missing the single forward hook. If I were.fishing back home, I’d have added a trailer hook to improve our odds. No efforts were made like this.
I will never book another charter that does not arrange transportation from the motel to the boat. Our driver spoke no english, and if not for a map I printed off the computer, we would not have found the Marina. When arriving at the guarded entrance to the marina, the guard had no record of us coming, and would not let us enter. After leaving, I received a text with the captain’s phone number. Only then were the driver and captain able to convince the guard to let us in.
The boat captain had his giflfriend with on the boat. He, she, and another of the crew spent most of the time on the flying bridge.
This felt like a boat ride to collect money.
I would not reccomend this boat.

Allen Messner does not recommend Agua Bendita

I believe we would have caught a lot of fish but one of our family members got terribly sea sick.  We had to go back to the harbor.

The boat took us 17 miles out because our hope was to catch Marilin, Sailfish and Wahoo.  The boat was very nice and the crew was professional. ( I am very picky about such, and i highly recommend this boat)  I would definitely rebook with this crew.  On the way back to the harbor, we set out some lines and my son caught a Mahi Mahi.  They provided drinks and sandwiches and communicated several times with me before the trip.  If you get seasick “at all” don’t go.  Even on a calm day the swells are big.  Dramamine helped one of us, but not the other.  Take it a half hour before the trip.  It’s a long way to go out if you have any issues with motion sickness.  But if you don’t - “Go for it!!!”

We had quite a few bites and landed some nice Mahi. Although the sea in that location can be quite rough the quality of fish in the area was amazing!

We had a struggle finding fish!  They gave us extra time on boat free of charge, they provided us with fishing rods, baited and ready to fish the dock for an extra service.  They went above and beyond for us.
I would book within them again-
he carribean waters had no fish!  We came up empty after 5 hours.  But the guides provided us with fresh fish for dinner and so much more!  Great outfit.

THANK YOU so much!
