I wanted a partial day of education and adventure for my daughter who just finished college and is starting her teaching career (and who is just a big kid at heart). I wanted to fish.  I got exactly what I wanted. Cap’n Ed reminds me of my goofy family at a reunion.  We laughed, learned and had a great day.  He’s a national treasure!

We had an awesome time with Captain Ed exploring the coastal waterways and fishing.  We were able to see many dolphins, a few manatee, and tons of birds. The kids had a great time getting shells at the island he took us to as well. It wasn’t the best fishing weather for us, but Captain Ed made the best of it for us.

Captain ed we had and we went fishing and then we went to a island and we found a crab crawl and shells that you can’t find at the beach then we saw a lot of dolphins then we saw 2 manatees one of theme had a big cut on his tail after that we went fishing again we cot 14 fish 3 spicies of fish. 2 manatees a lot of birds more then a dozen dolphins I cot a crab and then we headed back to shore I loved it

After reading SEVERAL reviews about Captain Ed and his charter, we decided it would be dumb not to choose this trip to book with ... we are a family of 6 with a variety of personalities and preferences and this trip did not disappoint at all!!! From my impatient and extremely active 5 year old to my wife who isn’t easily impressed: we all had an amazing day out on the water!!! Dolphins, manatees, sting rays, every kind of local bird, tons of great stories and Florida history, swingin from the trees, fishing (even my 5 year old caught some nice fish with the help of a very patient and clever Captain) and an amazing collection of sea shells made this day unforgettable ... Captain Ed went above and beyond to make sure each of us left with memories that we will keep for a lifetime! We WILL be back for sure!

I had my parents come in from out of towm for their grandsons 5th birthday. We decided we would check out a charter trip that would be good for the entire family and this exactly what we got. Captain Ed is VERY knowledgeable of the waters and area he charters. Right off the bat he took us out to an area where there were dolphins, manatees and a gator. From there he took us down the channel to bird island. Along the entire trip informing us of so much knowledge of the surrounding area. We checked out bird island where again Captain Ed would break down each species and everything about the islands. From bird island we scoot over to an island to look for some shells. This was one of the highlights for my 5yr old. After that it was fishing time! Within 15 min. We had 2 catfish and a shark! I would highly recommend Captain Ed to everyone. Very knowledgeable, professional, personable, and good with the kids.
