A great time was had on the Mad Hatter! Captain Blake is a great Captain. He put us on top of the fish all day, had lots of laughs, and a great host all-around. He thought of everything we may have needed ahead of time. His boat, the Mad Hatter, is a very comfortable, clean boat. Plenty of room to chill out inside the cabin on the couch, watch TV or play some Wii. The deckhand BJ was the real star. He was right where he needed to be the whole time. Captain Blake and first mate Scott are awesome. Captain put us on fish and Scott made sure everyone had bait keeping all lines catching fish. I highly recommend this boat and crew. My kids and I have had the fortune to fish with many boats and crew. I would put the Mad Hatter up against any of them. What a great way to spend a few hours making memories for a life time. We’ve been on a few offshore fishing trips, and this was by far our favorite. Captain Blake and DJ made things fun for our 3 kiddos. The Mad Hatter was super clean and made being out on the ocean comfortable. DJ made sure the kids all caught fish and his energy and excitement were infectious. I hooked a shark while fishing for snapper, and DJ worked his butt off to help me get it to the top of the water for the kids to see.
