Background
The Angler Fleet was born in 2002, when 'The Angler', a 1964 Brownell Eldridge McGuiness, was bought by Capt. Ken Tokar. Since then the original 'Angler' has been sold on to a new home, with four other boats being gradually accrued to take her place. These range from the 25' Angler Xpress right through to the 60' Angler IV. All boats are USCG inspected and feature a wide range of navigational electronics to allow them to fish the Western Long Island Sound. The crew focuses on providing an informative and courteous service, which attracts the company's many repeat customers to come back time and again.

Went fishing on Sunday, October 9, 2016

The captain checked the weather effects of Hurricane Matthew and cared whether men, women, and children got sick from strong winds and rough seas and cancelled the trip.  Captain Ken is a true professional worthy of his position.  Thank you Captain Ken for not letting money come first, but customers.  You are a true professional in every way.  We appreciate your truly caring attitude.  This was a company, family friendly event, and Captain Ken made sure it wasn’t going to come out negative or disastrous.  Thank you Captain Ken.  We will come back to you when weather permits.  I highly recommend anyone to Angler Fleet III.  They will listen, ensure they understand, and do everything to fulfill your best wishes.  They know what customer service and friendly approach mean and practice it with action and not words.  I trust them implicitly.
