We booked with Mike and Salty Dog Charter for three days. Never fished Lake Erie before and Mike made sure we would be back! Captain Mike was great . He is very knowledgeable about the lake and conditions.Meeting his wife and bulldog back at the launch . He sent bunches of pictures to me that he had taken . We would surely go back out with Captain Mike .. my wife and I made new friends today …

Captain Mike and his deck hand were great. They are both great with kids and he made sure we came home with fish. We all had fun and will be back!

We took a charter with captain Mike and his mate, Philip in August. We had such an amazing day, and got a tour of the Vermillion area on the boat. They were so welcoming and fun to be with! They were so helpful with providing hotel information and answering any questions prior to the charter. They catered appropriately to some beginners and more experienced fishers. Their prices were very reasonable! Here’s some picture from our trip.

We had a great trip with Captain Mike and Mate Phillip. Captain was very personable and knowledgeable. Mate was on top of his game and kept us baited with line in water the whole trip. The Captain discussed some area history, spotted some bald eagles, and put us right in top of fish. 10/10 recommend Salty Dog Charters for a very fair priced half day fishing adventure on Lake Erie.
