Background
Capt. Noah grew up in the Panhandle Florida coast, where he began fishing as a kid with his dad. During his teen years he became obsessed with surfing, and he moved to St Augustine after high school to be around more consistent surf. There he found that techniques on the northern gulf coast are pretty much the same as in northeast Florida, making it a seamless transition. Capt. Noah has always had boats and has always had an arsenal of rods and tackle. It seemed natural to begin guiding. He spends almost every day on the water, sometimes to just scout. This is essential in the backcountry creeks and oyster flats in the area, and makes all the difference between one guide from another. Noah doesn't just fish the rocks and docks as many local captains do, but prefers to put in the hard work to stay on top of the fish in the backcountry. This is far more rewarding, and will leave lasting memories. He looks forward to showing you the best of the St. Augustine and the First Coast.
Techniques
St. Augustine Light tackle, fishing inshore flats and creeks using live bait and artificials produce fish almost year round. When one species starts to taper off, usually another starts to fill in. Seasonally, in late spring through summer, we chase Tarpon inshore and off our beaches, and Cobia from off the beach out to the 10 mile reefs.

Basically the fish weren’t attacking the bait the day of our trip, but Capt Noah truly did his best. That’s fishing?  We had a great time and were impressed by the professionalism and effort of the Captain. He stuck with it and eventually we got into some trout so we didn’t get skunked. I’ll be booking another trip soon.

Thanks Barry for the positive review even though it was a slow day. Tough to pattern the fish with these huge temperature swings we’ve had this January. Had a good day with you and Kyle. Looking forward to seeing ya in the future.

Captain Noah White was very friendly and, despite cold and wind, we had a great time and we caught some fish. Noah went above and beyond to find the fish and make sure we were having a good time. If you want a fun, relaxing fishing trip, I recommend Captain Noah White.

We thoroughly enjoyed the day on Capt. Noah’s boat.  Conditions were not ideal but he went the extra mile to prepare equipment and give us every opportunity to catch the species we asked to target.

Thanks for the good review Kirk.  I enjoyed having you and Kate out for the day- wow, how much better Kate got with a spinning rod throughout the day!  Come for a long weekend in the fall..it’s our nicest time of year and the inshore fishing is fired up.  thanks again. Capt. Noah

Great morning on the water with Captain Noah.  While the fishing was a little slow Noah was a huge help in providing tips for my son and myself when fishing.  The boat was clean and big enough to comfortably allow for three people to fish.  We will be calling Noah on our next vacation to St. Augustine.  Highly recommend.

Captain White put us on the fish.  In fact, we just finished a dinner of reds and whiting.  We are definitely going on his boat again.  One member of the group is from New Jersey and plans on coming down again just to go out with Captain White.

We fished the backwaters in the Matanzas River using live baits after a huge temperature change. While we didn’t catch any large gamefish this trip, probably because of the unfavorable weather, it was a good experience with Capt. Noah. He is very knowledgeable and capable guide. I would book again.

Thanks for the good review Russell.  The fishing has still been hit and miss this last week, rain and rollercoaster temps- but cold finally arrives this Monday and things will get consistent again- El Nino!  You and your son were great to have out on the boat.  I’ll stay in touch and let you know when the cobia arrive in the spring… truly a bucket-list experience.  thanks again Capt. Noah.
