We had a great trip with Captain Eric. We originally had a reef trip scheduled but he informed us the conditions weren’t right but that the Mahi-Mahi bite was outstanding. We listened to Captain Eric and went offshore and we were really glad we did. First troll we hooked up and landed a sailfish. After that he had us on mahi-mahi the entire trip. We kept 15 but probably landed over 40. He is an easy going guy, who is patient and explains everything that is going on. If you’re in the Key Largo area, I would highly recommend taking a trip on the Reel Deal with Captain Eric.

Made trip worth while despite weather conditions.

We had a great trip. Capt. Eric was awesome. He fished hard for us, allowed my 15 year old to spear a few, then gave us some snorkeling time on the way in. We never felt rushed of as if he were on a deadline like you may encounter on some trips. I contacted him the night prior to the trip and discussed what we would like to do. We brought our spear and snorkeling gear and he made it happen. He then cleaned all our fish and bagged them for us!!!  Top notch boat, captain and service. I highly recommend his service.

Wind in Keys this time of year makes these a bit ‘iffy’ but this was a good day. Great boat for group of 5 or 6 - kept loooking as good as new. Capt placed us around spots where targeting casts by water color and instructions were easy. I would say great for adults, teens and tweens. Hard for smaller children just because size of rods and in our case waves from stiff breeze.  Capt cleaned the catch for us and gave tips for local restaurants who will cook it up for you. Great time - would do it again.
