Todd’s partner JR took us out, and he put me and my 8 year old son on the fish!!  We came from Florida to catch Minnesota lake fish, and they certainty delivered! JR knew every nook and cranny of the lake and was very knowledgeable being a professional guide and tournament angler. JR was very personable and awesome with my son. But most of all, he put us the fish where we boated more very nice size bass that we lost count, a nice pike and mixed in with a bunch of sunfish!!

My daughter and I booked a half day with set the hook guide service to learn how to fish for bass on lake Minnetonka. We were not disappointed! In one morning session we caught at least 10 large mouth bass with the largest ones in the 4 lbs range! All I can say is a huge Thank You to set the hook guide service for their expertise and patience with us. We would recommend set the hook to everyone learning how to fish this lake!

I had a great time, exactly what I was looking for. Relaxing day of fishing and plenty of crappies. Captain Todd was very attentive and put in a lot of effort to make sure we would catch lots of fish.
