Captain and crew did a great job.  Were ready as arranged, had a clear plan to propose and the skills to execute the plan.  A great half day on the water, with plenty of action - Captain John knew where to go to find fish and fully conversant with the challenges presented off North Topsail beach.  We lost a very nice Amberjack on the reef when I couldn’t turn it quickly enough, and had no luck finding King Mackerel - consoled ourselves with a bunch of tasty Spanish Mackerel close to the coast.  The largest Cobia weighed in at 41lbs, and earned a Citation in the local fishing tournament managed by NC Marine Fisheries.

Captain John has lived an interesting life, and we shared many anecdotes and experiences - and laughed a lot.  It was a fun day!

Absolutely the best offshore trip I have taken. Captain Aaron and mate Justin are true professionals. We where on the fish first thing in the morning and we stayed on them all day . The boat and tackle are first rate. We caught mahi, tuna , Black Sea bass and snapper. They work hard and make for a great day of fishing. I would highly recommend this team and Pelagic Hunter charters.

Captain Aaron and Mate Jeremiah were excellent.  Stop searching for charter companies, and just BOOK them—-you won’t be sorry!  They are knowledgeable, experienced, capable, and super-friendly.
