We are from Iowa so deep water fishing is not something that we have! Captain Frank lead us the whole way! He asked what we wanted, what kind of experience we were after and everything in between. The trip was 100% catered to us having a good time, followed by the captain taking the fish home and cleaning and filleting them for us. We then got a recommendation for where to go to have the RESTAURANT cook it for us. 10 out of 10 would book with Captain Frank again!

Captain Frank is the best!  We had an absolute blast on our half day trip.  The fishing was great and we came back with 14 fish.  My son’s friend even caught a 250 pound Nerf shark.  We had 4 teenagers with us and they couldn’t believe what they saw.  Awesome experience to see something like that up close. 
There were six of us and there was plenty of room on the boat while fishing.  We even had three on the line at the same time.  It was easy to manage with Captain Frank and his first mate though as they took care of everything.  Highly recommend going out with Captain Frank…we will definitely be coming back!

Those of us who fish know that things do not always go as planned. We started our day off with the intention of catching some bait fish and trolling. No boats were catching any bait fish, so Capt. Frank resorted to plan B and we went and bottom fished off of 3 different wrecks. The most amazing part is that everyone fishing today had to bottom fish, but Capt. Frank has some secret spots, because we were the only boat on each of the Three wrecks.
There were 5 guys in our group, Capt Frank and Slim (First Mate) kept everything organized and we were never crowded. This charter was one of the best trips that I’ve ever been on. All Five of us left the dock with 15 lbs each of fillets of Verrmillion Snapper, and Baracuda. I highly recommend Off The Grid to anyone that wants to get on the fish. 75lbs. Of fillets in a six hour trip is pretty awesome.

Hands down the best option we could have gone with. Crew was amazing and definitely went above the standard. Hard to put into words, but will break down the best way I can from this iPad. Started by feeling out what kind of fishing we were looking for. He then offered to pick us up at the marina that was close to our house. Boat pulls up and man….everyone’s jaw dropped. Absolutely beautiful boat with tons of space. This was our first time to open water, and decided to bring our two kids. Crew was always on spot to help them as well as us for the matter lol. We land on an old sunken barge that was loaded with Cuda. Easily had the meat we wanted in the first half, so they moved us to a fun spot filled with Reds. A fun catch and release was respectfully the perfect way to end the trip. Fought the biggest fish I’ve ever been given the opportunity to reel in. Huge bucket list checked off for sure. Was so excited I forgot to kiss her before letting her go back to the bottom! We head back in after that and CPT Frank offers to clean the loot. Attention to detail is how this man operates. All the way down to this final detail. He will be my go-to for all future trips in the area. You will regret not dripping him a line. Pun intended of course.
