- Background
- I have been fishing since I can remember and have owned a boat since I was 15. The majority of my early fishing years were spent fly fishing in small mountain creeks for native brook Trout. Later I became interested in tournament Bass fishing and played with this game for about 10 years. Then I got the bug for freshwater Striped Bass fishing. Moving to Southwest Virginia on Smith Mountain lake, I was catching Stripers consistently and had the seasonal patterns figured out. Now I am living on the West coast of Florida and fishing the salt water patterns. Most of my fishing now is in shore and with light tackle. Targeting species such as Trout, Snook, Snapper, Tarpon, Sheepshead, and Redfish.
- Techniques
- Fishing mostly with a combination of live and artificial baits on the inshore structure in the Tampa Bay area.
