Estero Bay Backwater Tarpon

Capt Joe put us on our intended species and the bite was on. We doubled up on reds and snook. He paired great knowledge of water conditions (clarity, tides and wind), with species preferences in structure and the fish cooperated. Great friendly personality and I’d have no problem bringing my 7 yr old daughter with next time.

Captain Joe was incredible, and by far the most down to earth guide we have had around here. This was our second time with him, and each time has been a blast. He made sure my sons and I were having a great time, and was clearly knowledgeable about the “good spots” for fish. I plan to give him a call again, and would recommend him to anyone.

We were in the fifth day of a strong easterly wind as the result of a large high pressure system so the fishing was pretty tough.  However, Captain Joe really worked hard to put us on fish and he did.  He is very personable, patient, an knows the water well.  We had a great morning fishing with Joe.

I was only in Fort Myers for 6 more hours when I contacted Captain Joe and he made it happen! I caught my first Bull Shark and first Goliath Grouper! This will be the first of many trips to fish with Capt. Joe. You won’t be disappointed I guarantee it!

I HAVE FISHED WITH MANY DIFFERENT CHARTER BOAT CAPTAINS OVER THE PAST 30 YEARS AND CAPTAIN JOE IS BY FAR THE BEST.  HE ENJOYS WHAT HE IS DOING. SEEMS MORE OF A HOBBY THAN A JOB TO HIM.  HE GOES OUT OF HIS WAY TO MAKE IT THE BEST FISHING EXPERIENCE FOR HIS CUSTOMERS.

Had an amazing day catching fish! We didn’t waste time fishing in places that didn’t produce any bites! We would move to the next spot and hook up some nice fish! Knowledgeable guide that made you feel relaxed! Newer boat and excellent fishing gear! From the time the day finished I was already asking my wife when I could go again! :)
Tight lines!!
