3/4 day spring trip!

Grear day on the water fishing with Shane and his buddies. No live bait but scrached off reds and trout with platic and fresh dead shrimp! The water temperature is just right and the sun is out! Soring fishing is in full swing. The boats iced down, rod and reels are ready!

Trout bite is on fire

This crew only wanted to target trout. They have had success catching redfish and wanted to learn how to be more successful catching trout on the lake. We set out with live bait and quickly boated our limit by 9:30am Maclaine’s son helped with the net!

Capt took us out early in the morning and put us on a real good spot. We caught a variety of fish early at the first spot we stopped. We had plenty of bait and some of the best fishing gear available. Glad we got to fish with capt Dominique. Definitely recommend Harvest Lodge to anyone looking to fish Hackberry area. Lincoln, Miguel and Jackson worked as a team, get getting fish to the boat knowing the bite was during a small window before the sun got too high. Sure made it look easy learned a lot from these experienced fisherman and they are welcome anytime. Look forward to it I had a great time

Great new year charter done by 9am with our limit of reds and some black drum. Glad I had the chance to take y’all out for the last few days chatting limits each day. One of the best times of the year to go fishing. I appreciate every George, Brianna and Kathrine

These guys jumped on the boat with me with only a day or so notice. We grabbed fresh bait and set out to find favorable conditions for tight lines. The tide didn’t move much till the last hour of our short trip out where we caught most of the fish. The whole family showed great sportsmanship and a lot of patience for the first half of the charter but when the fish started biting it was no prob putting them in the boat on ice. Zeljko, Alex and Hammer are welcome anytime short notice or not. Cheers... More
