Nice captain and good time.  I would book them again.

Captain and crew were great and got us in the fish even on a rough day. The boat is a bit old but serves the purpose

Buy a fish finder. 3 sea minnows ain’t cutting it for $500, but hey, we’re just the tourists…

Caught 3 tiny Bonita which was not the problem. The crew did not use the live well or ice in the cooler. The fish was nearly spoiled by the time we got back to the docks. The fish was smelling and warm to the touch when it was filleted. The credit card machine was magically broken the second we arrived for our trip and we were instructed to pay CASH before leaving the dock. We were only told after paying and leaving the dock that the outlets and fish finder were inoperable. Crew was rude and did not interact at all. Not recommended for families looking for a fun activity.

Our day started out bad as we ran behind, luckily they were patient with us and we were only a few minutes late.

When we researched charters, we specifically looked for one that accepted credit cards. The captain was not going to be taking us out and told us to pay first, which is fine. When we handed him our card he said no, cash only. I explained to him that his booking says he accepts credit cards and he said it didn’t work. So we said okay then, sorry we cannot go then. He told us to go to the ATM, but we had already taken out our limit at the ATM for the day and had other plans with that money. Then ghe actually tried to get the machine to work and finally was able to get it work. As soon as he got the money he left and someone else, Swa ran the boat along with first mate Raymond.

Although we did catch fish, we feel like they could have done more. After the lines were set, they didn’t do anything until we met the half way point and fish started hitting on the rappel. The crew just sat up top while we trolled along.

The boat and equipment is very old and in need of repairs. I didn’t even want to attempt using the bathroom.

When we returned, we requested that they just gut the fish as we have someone back at our airbnb that is going to cook up the fish for us. They did not like this. Swa was clearly annoyed. Then he started asking how many people are we feeding and we said we didn’t know. (which it’s not his business and we honestly didn’t know since there’s multiple people we planned on sharing with at our airbnb) Then when he got to the last fish which was by far the largest fish we had - he said I take this, it’s Christmas and I need to feed my family and we don’t have anymore bookings this year. (It’s December 30th by the way). We walked by when they were coming back in at 4pm and once again Swa was driving the boat so he lied to us about us being their “last booking”.

Their booking clearly says we get to keep our catch and that was not the case. We spent a lot of money (we also tipped) and this is not the only charter we have been on, and this was by far the worst. Do your research, there is better out there! I understand they need to make a living too, but do it honestly and do better.
