Hello Lyle, thanks for the feedback, we are so sorry about the misunderstanding about the different kind of fishing available in the zone. 

First we need to confirm that yes, the closest billfish spots are 20-25 miles from the Tortuga’s Island (the trip you booked). It includes small fishing *inshore*, just like the pictured with your son, but as you said Mahi Mahi, well, we are not ready for that kind of fishing because the trip was to the opposite side. If you see the prices, offshore fishing it’s completely different that - this pleasure + inshore fishing- , but even that, we went to the middle distance to give you a try. Our loose it’s your gain, the price it’s much lower and some family groups choose it because it’s a great mix (Snorkeling, Beach Lunch, inshore fishing) but it’s geographic and economic impossible to manage so we suggest that if you wanna billfish, just try the correct trip. About the live bait, yes, we use it if needed in offshore trips.

We always will try our best, for any customer, we love fish, we love great smiles when reels sounds fast and we understand that sometimes customers don’t verify all details.

PD. We got one snorkeling mask and one flipper broken and we didn’t charged you a $ because we know was accidents but happened.
