Even though we didn’t catch any fish, Barron did all he could to try and make it happen which included a 15-mile hike across the lake into the river.  We had some very recent cold snaps which we’re sure played a huge factor into them scattering.
He knows the lake well (including its many hidden stump mines) and I’m sure in the future he’ll help me land some nice ones.  We’ll tear ‘em up next time!

I have fished all my life from the Florida keys to biscayne bay. As well as freshwater in Miami Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties. Fishing with Capt. Cox was probably the most successful and fun day I have had fishing.  We caught 31 large mouth bass.  Everything from 1 pound to 3 pounds.  It was my wife’s first fresh water trip and she is ready to go again.  Capt.  Cox was extremely knowledgeable of all of the areas we fished and was more than happy to share his knowledge and techniques. I found Capt Cox to be a great man.  I can’t wait to go again.

Captain Barron was fantastic!  My 9 year old is ALL about fishing, but had never caught a Largemouth Bass in Florida…until today!  Barron was so patient and helpful!  Incredibly awesome day that exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend!
