First time fishing the backwaters.  Went with my son & I for some good father/son time.  Captain and 1st Mate were very nice and spent a little extra time teaching my son & I a few tricks of the trade.  Also, very welcoming to my son letting him have free reign of the boat.  I know he enjoyed that.  Originally booked 6 hour in-shore; but weather turned it into 4-1/2 hour but certainly not anyone’s fault. Spent some time early in the morning catching live bait, wished that this was done beforehand so we could maximize out time fishing, but my son was included on bait-fishing and he seemed to enjoy that experience as well so it was fine.  In the future, I would definitely prefer all live bait necessary be caught and available before heading out on the boat.  Caught a sheephead, a couple Tarpon, & lots of Jack.  Unfortunately no keepers and was hoping for lunch; more snapper and less Jack but maybe next time. 

I only gave Capt. Phil 1 day notice and he really attempted to accommodate request; so I appreciate and understand.  The next time, I will try and give him more of a heads-up and be a bit flexible on the dates, so he can help guide us on the best day to go relative to the tides, etc.  Definitely want to bring some fish home for lunch next time and stay out longer fishing that cause.  Thank you.

Captain and crew treated us awesome and put us on the fish. We caught a limit of Snapper and also completed the slam with Snook, Redfish, and Trout. Definitely recommend the captain who went out of his way to make sure we had a great time and caught fish.

We were on the fish for the majority of our trip.  Fish running and shoaling all over.
