Dalton and his mom Andrea, made the trip from Oklahoma as part of his high school graduation celebration. On their way to NYC via Niagara Falls, they decided to try some fishing. It was clear from the onset that both were experienced with a rod and reel. They caught fish early and often with numerous quality smallmouth (both caught their personal best) and Dalton managed a nice pike to end the day. Great day on the water with great people!

James was up from North Carolina and decided to see what smallmouth fishing was all about. His extensive bass fishing experience was evident from the onset. With the stiff west wind the fish were pretty aggressive. He boated his personal best smallmouth early in the trip and proceeded to break it several times including three over the 4lb mark. He slso got his personal best drum at 8lbs. Then he topped it off by landing an absolute GIANT of a walleye at 8lbs 4oz! Also a personal best! Great day on the water with a new friend!

Christine wanted to surprise her husband Tom with a walleye fishing trip for his birthday. After initially not being very comfortable with fishing at night, she eventually changed her mind. Iโ€™m glad she did and so was Tom! Tom caught his first walleye in quite some time as well as the biggest of the night! Christine caught her first walleye ever and mixed in a very nice smallmouth too boot! Two more friends added to the growing list. I look forward to them returning in the future!

Dawnell thought her son Cash would love to go fishing, something he definitely did a lot more of as a very young man. Up from WV on vacation, they decided to drag boyfriend Zach along. 2nd group from WV in a row to jump onboard. The three of them laid a beat down on the fish catching the biggest of two species of fish for the year so far. An 11 lb drum (aka sheephead or gaspergou) and a 5 lb slob of a smallmouth! The friendly banter and obvious closeness of this group made the day very fun! Ended the day with somewhere north of 30 fish total! Had a boat first triple header and a duble header to boot! Ok Two smallmouth over the 20โ€ trophy season regulation! Great day on the water!

Abby surprised her fiancรฉ, now husband, Bryce, with a smallmouth trip for Christmas. Turns out both of them are accomplished anglers. Even on a slow bite they managed a 20 fish day! Caught em deep, caught em shallow, caught em in between. Super nice young people with strong family values. I antipate them staying together a long time! Great day on the big lake!

Sandy and Todd came up on vacation from SW Louisiana. Struggled through a tough early bite, changed tactics, put their prior fishing skills to use and made it a great day! Many quality fish including both getting their personal best smallmouth and near the very end of the trip, Sandy decided to catch dinner and nailed this beautiful walleye. Her first one ever! Great peiple make what i do very rewarding.
