Ricky and Johnny were excellent. Always there to provide advice and to bait the hooks, take off the catches and sort out any issues.
Vessel was exceptionally clean and well maintained.
Good fishing spots and a good morning bag of snapper.
By the time we got out to the fishing spots and return lost an hour so only three hours of fishing. Would have been great if there was another two hours at least.
Would have given five stars but we were disappointed with the handout of the fillets at the end. There was no discussion about how the catch would be handled. We took a chilly bin expecting to need somewhere to put anything we caught. However everyone’s catch went into one bin. At the end Johnny did a great job in filleting the fish. Between us my partner and I caught five snapper two very good size ones. Our bag of fillets that we were given at the end of the morning contained 7 fillets not the 10 we were expecting and in addition all but one were the smaller catches. So guys one improvement suggested, be clear about how the catch is to be handled.
But not with standing the above a great fishing experience one we would highly recommend

Booked the trip last minute but still got a place on the boat. I was hesitant about a shared boat fishing charter but we caught lots of fish and it was well worth the price. The captain and crew were very friendly, helpful, and informative. 10/10 experience, absolutely would go again

This was the best fishing trip we have taken yet.  The skippers Rick and Johnny made our trip so much fun and were very skilled.  We caught so many fish and overall had a superb day.  Highly recommend!

Spent an awesome morning with the mighty team aboard “Splash” in the Bay of Islands. The kids and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves as did the rest of he guests aboard. Top crew, top experience. Thanks Team!!!

An amazing morning fishing in the bay of islands. The crew made us all welcome and were really friendly and helpful with the kids. We caught lots of different fish and ate it for dinner after it was cooked at the fish shop across from the wharf, after advice from the crew.
You won’t be disappointed if you book this fishing charter.
