Caught some red snappers, but it’s out of season so they were all throwbacks. Very good triggerfish, Ruby, red lips, and Spanish mackerel caught.
Susan Orr
We taught a ton of fish just not keepers! March isn’t the best time and we knew it would be tough.

Without a doubt, book with Southern Sun Fishing Charters. Even with such an overcast, and being a foggy day, Captain Charlie took the time to hit multiple points to make sure he put us on the fish.
Cooper Line
Just know what you can catch in the season you’re booking. That’ll set the appropriate expectations for the day.
Susanne Deike
We had no trouble catching fish because our boat captain is very knowledgeable and knew where the fish were biting.

Call Capt. Brent from Fishing Made Easy.
He will put you on fish even on a slow day.
Doug Peterson
Go out fishing on a party boat and not inland fishing. Save $$$ and actualy catch fish.
Andrea Green
Check and see what is in date for “keeper fish”. We hope to be back in June for red snapper.
Philip Hardwick
Bring work gloves, we caught so many so quickly that I developed blisters. Captain Parker is young but, don't doubt his expertise. He is very polite and professional!!
James Murphy
Book this boat and Captain. He’s a great guy. Just tell him what you want to fish for and I’m confident he will find them for you!

Go fishing if you can and work with your crew. Don't get drunk the night before. Have fun. Bring what you need for the time out on the water

No big fish, but still plenty of action with smaller sized keepers. Little rough waters the day we went out.

The Alabama Gulf Coast is a Good Fisherman's Paradise. Whether you like backwater or gulf fishing the variety is there.

Definitely go with a good charter captain like Charlie with Southern Sun Charters. Charlie grew up in the area fishing with his Dad and knows where the fish are.

6 hours minimum. We had to get 30
Miles offshore to find our meat but if taking home filets is your goal this is the place

Weather was perfect this morning. Best to take the morning trip when the water is calmer and it’s cooler.

Caught multiple species of fish and just enjoy what you do catch, don’t come expecting a monster, just appreciate what hits the line

Call Capt Corey and bring lots of waters. It was great having a AC cabin on such a hot and humid day.

Drink plenty of water, bring plenty of beer, practice your sensitivity with a pole, might plan to spend a full day out instead of a half day if possible.

Be prepared for sea sickness. Even the most seasoned anglers on our trip got sick. The water was so rough you couldn’t even stand to bait your hook.

Big Spring, KY
Lots of boats available with difference sizes and lengths of trips. Good fish species availability.

White trout kept you moving tons of fish. Flounder and baby drum were fun to catch. Lady fish was a fighter!

Go out on the Emerald Breeze. It's a good deal. We took home 1 full bag of Wahoo steaks, 1 full bag of Snapper filetes. Easily $100 worth of fish. Not saying everyone will do that...lol

Go with Capt Rick and Stephanie they will take care of you. My 6yr old son caught 2 fish completely by himself. They are great people and will go out of their way to help even the newest angler

Make sure if you’re not sure about motion sickness to pack some Bonine or sea bands just in case!

The weather was great, although the water a little rough. If you get motion sick, pack the drammamine.
