The bite has been on fire, with a great mixed bag of species! All the usual flats fish, plus some cool surprises. Reds, snook, trout, with some mackerel, grouper, and tarpon mixed in!

Fall fishing is going to be on fire this year! We’ve been consistently running into tarpon while flats fishing. The bait is getting bigger, the snook, and reds are schooling up!

The goliath bite is still hot. The boys boated 5 today. Spotted some rollers on the way back in, and landed this stud tarpon.

The storm surge is receding. We got very lucky here this time. Water is receding, and condtitions have improved. Should be fishing as usual for the holiday weekend!

August 2023 inshore report

The breeder snook, and redfish are starting to congregate on the flats again. White bait, and cut pin fish have been the go to baits. The seasonal rain has the water temps back in the mid to high 80’s, and the bite is heating up!
