With the warm weather and lack of salmon in the river system the Rainbows are hungry and looking up! They are hungry and looking to feed on top water dry flies. It's a great time to experience this clear water walk and wade fishery with little angler pressure. Lots of small, medium and large bows are feeding aggressively.

With this great weather we've been having the dry fly fishing for rainbow trout has been fantastic. Lot's of large and small trout keeps the day moving without a break in the action. Bears, Moose, Eagles and this beautiful river will keep you amazed from the first minute you step onto the trail. This is the total Alaskan fishing experience!

The Sockeye fishing at the Russian River and Kenai River confluence has been excellent with limits daily. On our off days we fish this pristine river for Sockeye for the freezer. This is one of the best years we've had for these first run sockeye salmon in years! Come join us in July on the mainstem Kenai for the second run which should be gang busters!
