Sheephead are starting to bite good on the reefs! Lets get out and get some of the tasty convict fish!!

Cold water fishing still producing fish. Finally got back out on the reef after a very long cold front. Fishing was pretty slow with a water temp of 54 degrees. But we did manage to get a nice Gag Grouper which are now out of season, some shepherd and a few snapper. Temps keep warming up everyday. I think fishing should be back on par by tomorrow or Thursday on the Gulf Reefs.

Great Kingfish bite this week off of Anna Maria! We have had some great fishing this week. Multiple cold fronts are predicted for next week. We had an absolute blast catching Gag Grouper in Tampa Bay today! The fish were chewing good on live pin fish. I had a great family from the UK out fishing earlier in the week. We were able to put multiple snapper in the boat, along with some spanish mackerel and a shark. Then I had my regular client Les from Jupiter for two full days. We caught several snapper, kingfish, sharks and a couple goliath grouper. Fishing started a little slow this week because of an early season cold front, and became much better the last couple of days due to warmer weather. Inshore there is a good trout and gag grouper bite. There are also good amounts of tripletail being caught on the stone crab trabs for anyone who wants one of the tastiest fish of the sea! Weather is great right now, with cool mornings and warm calm afternoons. Lets get out and enjoy this beautiful fall weather! Tight Lines !! Captain Tony
