Fresh Coronado Fishing Reports

San Diego Bay has been fishing well for Spotted Bay Bass, Halibut, and Leopard Sharks over the past few weeks. Things should only get better as we warm up into Spring! Late Feb-June is the best time to be on the water on San Diego Bay

What a difference a year makes! Last year at this time we were dealing with record amounts of rain and cold weather. This winter has been totally different with mostly dry, mild weather and the fishing has definitely reflected that. Lots of Spotted Bay Bass, Halibut, and Leopard Sharks showing up with a few Bonefish as well. Fishing should only get better as we slowly begin to transition into spring

We have been have a great time on San Diego Bay the past few weeks. Spotted Bay Bass, Leopard Sharks, Halibut and a few Bonefish have made up the majority of the catch. With the mild winter we are having fishing should continue to be good for the foreseeable future!

The Spotted Bay Bass bite has been consistently good over the past few weeks with 30-50 fish on average for a morning half day. We have also been seeing more leopard sharks around with some good sight fishing opportunities in the flats!

The fall fishing has remained steady with nice weather and big tide swings over the past week. We have been catching lots of Spotted Bay Bass, a few Halibut, Leopard Shark, Bonefish, and all kinds of different sharks and Rays. Fishing should continue to remain good throughout the Holiday Season! Time to get out and enjoy some winter sunshine on San Diego Bay!

The picture says it all! The weather has been great and the leopard sharks have begun to migrate into the bay provide plenty of rod bending action! Spotted Bay Bass and Bonefish continue to bite well with a few Corvina and Larger Halibut around as well.
