Plenty of big fish caught this week. Plus cooler evening temps combined with the new invasion of peanut bunker is sure to get the predictable surface feeds going again.

The light tackle and flyfishing bite has been slow lately but fishing around the bait schools has been producing nice striped bass! All signs point to that bite comtinuing for at least the next week. Cooler forecasted upcoming evening temps should only improve both that bite and return some normalcy to the surface feeds.

Striped bass fishing is very good and getting better! Big stripers have moved in and are getting thicker every day. The schoolie bite is still fun and 30+ fish per trip are the average. And, the flounder bite is quite good too. Only a few weeks left for the flounder.
