Great time and caught plenty of fish! I should have booked the whole day instead of half but still slammed a bunch of fish!

Make sure you purchase your fishing licenses the day prior and give atleast 30 minutes to do so. It requires computer data input by the associate which can take about 5 minutes a person. I do not have experience doing it online. Only used live shrimp and it was working for us all day. The fish cleaners at the dock are pretty convenient and charge about $0.50/lb.

Understand that fishing is mostly about conditions, the angler’s skill, and then luck. The only thing a guide can do is get you onto fish. It’s up to you to hook them and reel them in. Catching fish is never guaranteed so go in with the right expectations and you will have a wonderful day and hopefully catch something to eat for dinner.

We came to Corpus Christi because my dad did his flight training at the NAS, but the quality of fishing completely blew us away. We did a full day charter and then fished on our own for two more days, and we had an absolute blast. Lots of different areas to fish and very good accessibility to public waters.

Be ready to catch fish. Bring a wind breaker and sunglasses. Be prepared to be soar the next day from reeling in big fish.

Corpus Christi is a great place to go fishing. Planning on doing a week fishing trip next year.

Stay in the channels and bay for your first trip. Action out in the Gulf is hit or miss and there can be long waits between.

Bring sunscreen, snacks, drinks, sunscreen, sunglasses and caps. Be prepared for occasional windy conditions.

Prepare for fishing shallow water. Average depth we fished was 4 ft. The fishery is tremendous!

Don’t bring bananas and put sun screen on before you get on boat. Sunscreen is bad for the live well (fact that I learned real quick).

Cant go wrong with Cap. Dale! He is extremely knowledgeable and will make anyone feel comfortable.

Just book a day trip , you'll be happy you did ! We booked a half a day it was sad hitting the bank , we deffinetly didnt want to leave !
