The summer water was very warm this year. I think it may have slowed down the fishing but the trip itself was very nice.

Last year drove 1 1/2 hours each way. Fished in Corolla this year and it was only 9 minutes from the house.

Not the best time for bass but Captain did a great job finding bass that where on the bite and helping with gear. We came in after the Hurricane and he had no chance to get out and find them before trip. But found bass and put us on them. The captain stayed in contact with me all through the week leading up to my vacation even though the hurricane was bearing down on the obx. This was much appreciated and answerd any of my concerns. Had a great day and caught fish thank you.

You have to drive to nags 1 head hour to get on the boat. I'm in Corolla. I picked this boat because it said duck.
