Mid Summer Shark Bannaza-Nearshore Trip

Our nearshore shark action is heating up. Trips ranging from 5-20 sharks a trip. We are mostly catching spinner and blacktip sharks ranging from 30-160 lbs. On these trips we are likely to encounter Tarpon, Jacks, Ling and Bull Reds. This trip continues to get better and better until late October. If you are allergic to catching “Big Sharks “ then this is not your trip.

July went out with a bang!

We haven't had an empty box yet. From fishing with a popping Cork and shrimp to jigging live bait off the bottom it has been constant success! We've been landing speckled trout, redfish, flounder sheepshead, black drum, small sharks and much more. The action is been extremely hot to say the least. I'd like to thank all my clients for choosing Texas coast charters and putting their faith in me to show them a great time on the water! Fishing is a gamble. We were very lucky that we caught some fish, but we did catch them towards the end of our trip We are from Washington state and when they said it was going to be warm out on the water I had no idea that it could be as hot as it was. We definitely didn’t need coats or the winter ski hat I brought ? Make sure you bring water, snacks, and sunscreen.

Unless you’re experienced, don’t worry about the type of fish. You’ll have a good time regardless. Get Dramamine if you tend to get motion sickness. You’re very likely to see dolphins fairly close to the boat.
