Sunscreen and tons of water! ? even if you think you're drinking enough water, keep drinking water! There's a toilet on board, use it!
Let the crew know what you're looking for, they know where the fish hang out and where the sharks hang out. It was a great time!

Leave your gear at home , the captain has the gear you need rigged and ready to, bring only what you need from the list the captain recommends the more room you have on the boat to fish the better , pay attention to what the captain tells you, he is trying to help you catch fish these guys are professional fishermen and boat captains and the less time they have to spend tending to you the more time they have to find the fish so everyone can make the photo board .

Normally not the best time of year, but had a very productive day. Ponce inlet is convenient from Daytona and VERY fast to get out to sea from compared to other places up the intracoastal / river.

The marina was beautiful! The place was peaceful and a great location! There is also a 175 foot lighthouse here, tallest in Florida and one of the tallest in the USA!

February can be a bit slow, but still a great time. We had 3 keepers from the trip, two of which are sharks. If you're just in it to catch and release its well worth it, but if you are interested in catching lots to eat it may be best to wait for early spring or fall

Check with the captain in a private message or go to their Facebook and locate their phone number and talk with them directly to find out if the conditions are looking good enough to go out (offshore specifically otherwise they may talk you into an inshore trip). Don’t get me wrong inshore fishing can get you some great fishing and if you only have a certain amount of time to be in the area go fish on!

Skill and experience matters, Captain Davy is the best choice. Great conversation, laughter, and a real knowledge of the waterways of New Symnra. He was faced with tricky weather conditions and we still caught fish.
