On December 9th we had two buddies join us for a 6 hour fishing tour starting at 7:00 am. The morning began with trolling along the reef line and over some of our favorite spots, but despite working different depths and changing lures a few times, the bite was very quiet and we didn’t have much luck on the troll. After talking with the anglers, we decided to change the game plan and switch over to jigging and bottom fishing to make the most of the conditions. That decision paid off quickly: while jigging they hooked into a huge amberjack that put up an intense fight, with long powerful runs before finally coming to the boat, giving them an awesome catch and great photos. After landing the amberjack, we moved to bottom fishing over structure and started getting steady action with triggerfish, keeping the rods bent and the anglers busy. In the end, even though the trolling was slow at the start, the switch to jigging and bottom fishing turned the day around and made for a fun, productive trip on the water.

On December 7th, we had the pleasure of taking two anglers out on a 6-hour private fishing trip, starting bright and early at 7:00 AM. The day began with calm seas, though the sky was overcast, creating a serene and peaceful atmosphere on the water. The group focused on jigging with artificial lures, which proved to be an effective technique for the species in the area. During the trip, they successfully caught several Amberjacks, enjoying the thrill of each strike and the challenge of reeling in these strong, fast-fighting fish. Despite the gray skies, the anglers remained enthusiastic and engaged throughout the day, making the experience both fun and rewarding. Overall, it was a productive outing that offered not only a good catch but also a chance to enjoy the unique environment of the open sea.

The fishing group enjoyed a 4-hour fishing tour on Thursday, November 26th. During the trip, they engaged in trolling using both live bait and artificial lures. The day was extremely successful, highlighted by the capture of a massive sailfish along with several bonitos, giving the group plenty of excitement and great stories to share. The ocean was a little choppy, but the sun was shining brightly, creating a beautiful backdrop for the day’s adventure on the water. After the tour, the group had their fresh catch prepared at a local restaurant, allowing them to enjoy the fruits of their efforts and ending the day on a high note. Overall, it was a memorable and rewarding day of fishing.
